This is a normal post That band was Tappi Tíkarrass
at 11 she released a solo album of folk songs
at 14 she formed an all girl punk band called Spit and Snot
and then a Jazz fusion group called Exodus
then a band called Jam-80 which became Tappi Tíkarrass (translates as cork the bitch's arse or something)
She then met up with Einar and a few others forming KUKL
which eventually became the Sugarcubes around 86

This is a normal post This predates The Sugarcubes by five years
and is from a 1981-82 documentary featuring many local Icelandic bands. I never knew she was that old.
