If the shop keeper doesn't... prosecute or whatever it's called, then surely he can't be taken to court?
I hope if they catch him they'll let him off easy. That was the saddest and most polite robbery I've ever seen.

So if someone came at you with a gun and asked politely for all your money...
bankcards and what not you'd be fine with that and just hand it all over? You wouldn't report it to the police? You would not want the man caught or brought to trial? What's your address? :)

... are different things. And I'm poorer than the man who robbed the shop keeper! You can keep your hands away from my treasured bus fare, thank you very much. That's got to last me two weeks!
