That contraption was rubbish, it slowed him down and restricted the movement of his front legs
He just needs something to protect his legs and belly bits that rub on the ground.

It is sweet
and I'm such a big softy that I thought of little bunny socks and a little bunny apron so he can get himself around more freely and easily.
The advantage of socks it that they won't gather bunny pee and soak it into his fur.
