if you cut the buildup and just showed you screaming and his reaction. Everything else is pointless.

Yeah, but I thought the build up showed my dedication to waiting...It could be worse, I could have not sped it up at the beginning.

This is a normal post Cut the waiting..
..but fade to black, cut, then fade back afterwards. Gives the impression of time passing.
