I tried a portal vid,made a 3D sentry and everything..
...but I couln't quite get the voice. Tried my microkorg and kaoss pad with no luck.

Try a Macintosh Speech Synthesiser to get the basic voice, passed thru your micro korg
with a little tuning I reckon you should be able to get something thereabouts, esp if you cut the samples up a bit.
This tip comes to you from The Shalroth with a little help from me.
