First impressions? I'm not bowled over. Once Ninty get their marketing claws into me over the next few months, with videos and decent demonstrations of the hardware and controller I'll be queuing up on launch day like a lot of kids.

I'm just glad that the Gamecube and Wii controllers are compatible.

Wii didn't exactly have a lot of 'must have' games. Maybe, 5 or 6 at the most.

This is a normal post I'm very excited about this...
I think the name is crap and I'm keen to get an actual look at the specs, but this looks like a nice concept with a ton of potential. I worry about the strategy to try and be all things to all people, the XBox has moved in that direction and found itself in an awkward position. Nonetheless, if Nintendo can genuinely deliver on the promise of more hardcore titles then I'm sold.

I like the idea of having a second screen on hand for maps, inventories, etc
Hopefully there'll be some decent RPG and Strategy games that can be played from the sofa
