Adventurous Place !
I spent 5 days in a canoe floating down the Green River
from Moab to the confluence on the Colorado River
saw many old ruins and petroglyphs
then got picked up by a jet boat that took us back to Moab in about 3 hours !

Oh that must have been lovely!
We went white water rafting in Moab and spent days going round the parks. My ex parents in law lived there, SUCH a gorgeous place.

I did that too
except I started at Green river. They flew us out in tiny planes which was an adventure in itself, then picked us up in a rickety old bus to drive us back to civilization. It's what started me on this adventuer: www.b3ta.com/questions/books/post162965
