
Ran a probability analysis on Yes/No answers for an exam for surgeons. Over a 5 year period the Yes answers averaged out as 56.9% for yes, 43.1% for no.
If in doubt, for a Yes/no answer and you don't have a clue, go for yes. It's easier for the people setting the exams to set questions where the answer is in the affirmative.
