Trailer for the Woman in Black
very generic and in your face. Was hoping for a subtle chiller like the book/old tv version. Also, What's with the american accent on the annoying child narration?

I know nothing about TWIB I'm afraid
But I fear this will be undone by Radcliffe's "acting". Post Harry-Potter he can't be a star for long surely?

I went to see this at the theatre as a 15-year-old on a school trip
Whatever bravado and pessimism (how can the theatre possibly be scary) we displayed before we went in was well and truly scared out of us by the time we staggered back out. I wonder if the film will be scarier? Something tells me it won't be. Thanks for posting though, not seen this as a trailer in any cinema...

I picked up a copy of the original TV version a while ago
and found it's genuinely quite unnerving. Nice to see it remade

tv version is fantastic
the opening of this with the house and marsh got me excited, but the extra scary children and writing on the wall just seems too heavy handed

I saw this on stage
there was only 3 actors, it was pretty mince. However this film looks slightly better.
