This is a link post The normal version of this entertaining physics / science demonstration has I made this!

a dark opaque balloon inside of a translucent balloon and one fires a strong laser into the translucent balloon which pops the dark balloon but leaves the translucent balloon intact.
I switched out the dark inside balloon for flash paper for a bit of fireworks.

Pew pew lasers and such - but i'm much more interested in the marketing potential of the device which inflates two (or more) balloons within themselves.
