I think so. If you're using Unity there are lots of changes to that.
And if you want to use Gnome 3 and Gnome Shell you can use it alongside Unity in 11.10, whereas in 11.04 if you install Gnome Shell, you break Unity.
If you're happy with the way your OS is now though, you could wait until 12.04 since that will be the Long Term Support release. :)

Seems to be a refinement of 11.04.

I much prefer Gnome Shell.
I think Unity still needs a lot of work. It's very netbooky, which is fine if you use a netbook, I suppose!

Yeah, I found Unity a little undercooked.
I'm happy to see them trying new things though and I'll keep going back to try it.
