I once found Tony Hart
and Mr Bennett filming with a huge BBC filmcrew outside Dovedale near Ashbourne on the way home from school. This is true incidentally. Mr Bennett was wearing giant eagle wings, a prosthetic beak and running around the field whilst attempting to fly.
Being aged about 11 I asked Mum to stop the car and we waited for around an hour until Hart and Bennett finally came over to the car and signed my Maths book.
I'm very grateful but I got a huge bollocking for ripping up my homework.
