Gah! What arseholes!
OK: what they're up to is potentially quite interesting... but:
(a) they're arseholes
(b) they're blurring the distinction between academia and activism
(c) they're aresholes.
I bet they're sociologists. (I know one is credited as being a lecturer in literature: but that just makes me think he's a literature-department philosopher - that is, someone who's read a bit of Derrida and Baudrillard, without actually knowing anything much about philosophy. This is even worse than being a sociologist, so I'm doing him a favour.)
