This is a normal post Right, actually.
Recording out of a bus window and then halving the speed is exactly what I was doing (with the exception of the last scene, where I was doing the same thing but sitting still on the pavement instead).

SloPro on the iPhone 4S lets you record at 60 frames per second (twice the normal rate) which means slowing it down to half the original speed leaves it looking (more or less) smooth.

'cos the motion of the bus looks normal speed whereas the people look slowed down. Makes my brainhurt
