This is a normal post I am not going to pretend I understood that.
My tiny mind just can't handle the numbers and apparently counter intuitive logic involving quantum physics.

So the higgs particle is made up of other particles that have no mass but has a mass of 125keV and creates a field that gives mass to some particles but not to all particles.

Good effort in trying to explain it but my brain just rejects that.

This is a normal post No.
The Higgs boson doesn't create the Higgs field. The field has been there all along. The field is not created by any particle. The Higgs boson interacts with the Higgs field, so if we can find the boson then we can infer the existance of the field. Other particles also interact with the field. It is the field which confers mass on particles, not the boson as so many mainstream media outlets keep repeating.
