
Australian supermarket giant Coles has recruited British rockers Status Quo to help shoppers save money on their grocery bill.
In the new TV ad, the band change the lyrics to their 1974 UK number one hit Down Down to "Down down, prices are down'' in line with Coles's advertising tag line.

It's better than Argos just using a track of there's for years on end.
At least the company took an interest and got them involved.
And no doubt the millions it will make them will be well spent *snort*

I wonder if there's a picture somewhere of them doing just that?
I'm also impressed that they couldn't be arsed to travel any further than Abbey Road studios to record the track.
