but not that unusual. In my life I've been helped dozens of times by total strangers and, in turn, I've helped out other where I can.
It's just "what goes around, comes around". As people helped me, I feel obligated to share the love by helping others.

My car broke down on me once.
In the snow.
Only person to stop? Some ultra-chav in a mega-chav-wagon. Gave me a jump start (car was have leccy faults) then he followed me for 5 mins in case the car conked out again.
Life lesson? Never judge a chav by the polyester!
