I Wish
there was some sort of World Medal that could be given to people who make the supreme sacrifice - who knowingly go to their deaths in order to save others.
There were many, many brave men and women who dieD at Chernobyl. But of particular note are the three divers who volunteered to open the sluice gates knowing that they were going to their certain death. Their courage saved millions.
