It works fine for me
That is until I saw the floating* social media crap then closed it. Java has been disabled by default in one of the more recent updates. I'm not sure if it applies to your OSX version (hence my comment about the round buttons) but it's worth looking into.
*Sorry, but that's second only to stealing focus in jonbob's book of bile-raising web no-no's.
