
most of this is just comping... using real photographic elements comped together.
CGI is normal used to describe an added element that is entirely computer generated...
there for comping a video of someones arm onto their body, is very different from generating A CGI arm...
semantics... and I'm normally anti-semantics.

but shirley you're comping computer generated scenes? e.g. the live action scene and (potentially) a completely computer generated scene?

most of these are video element comps... theres some cgi, and even some still images, but most of it is still film comping
