I wouldn't like to suggest anything, but Fridays appear to be a breeding ground for hilarious headlines on El Reg, especially in the afternoon. My favourite so far is this one from January.

Quick Threadjack... Anyone going to Bangface this year? Theme is "Heroes and Villains" and thought this year...THIS YEAR...I'll make the effort.
Any ideas what I should go as? My current favourite is Captain Hindsight.

Last year's theme was "horror". It was actually a bit of a worry, wondering around late at night seeing everyone dripping with blood and not knowing if it was real. (In a few cases it was, there were a few feisty people there last year, not understanding the love)

Probably could get a bit "hectic" if you are fucked up, no worse than Glastonbury though.
I think you'd be fine going as a mass murderer/child rapist, or you could always apply some boot polish and go as Robert Mugabe (I'm assuming bad taste/comedy is the remit).

A couple of years ago, the theme was "space"
Lots of people went as aliens. A group of my female friends went as tasteful but slutty "fairies from outer space".
Another friend of mine decided to go as a black hole.
So, once the girls were ready, he had one of them black him up from head to toe.
It was only on the 10th strange look he received, when almost at the main arena, that he realised his rookie mistake...
"No, no, honestly, I'm a black hole! I'M A BLACK HOLE!"

Hahaha, I have heard only bad things so far!
It can't be dirtier than Camber Sands or (their regular "night") The Electroworks (parts of this place are taped off and actually ARE falling down...dirty, dark, dingy, and full of BASS)

Oooh, sounds like a nightmare.
I much prefer loud noise, drugs and hippies.
Bangface you get a bit of a mix...hippies, chavs, and lots and lots of mad Dutch.
Vibert confused them a little last year. The mad dutch had been enjoying a lot of trance...seemed to be quite trancy last year...then Vibert came out and did a blinding 2 hour hardcore set billed as a history of the Amen break. Savage. Took them a while to realise you can't pogo to hardcore...but by the end they fucking loved it.

I heard about that set from someone, maybe it was Count vanderhoff, might have been Dave!
I too prefer the hippie vibe, RTTS is a bit diferent musically too, there is alot of d+b and jungle thrown in with hard house, trance and hardcore, and in the other little arena last time I went there was a silent disco. It's pretty diverse, the site is an absolute shithole though.
