That is really great!
And it really did put me in mind of a scene from Sam Peckinpah's "Bagpuss", with The Mice shooting the stink out of that damnable Marvellous Mechanical Mouse Organ, before heading off-screen to turn Professor Yaffle into so many matchsticks.
I think The Postgate would have approved. :-)
