Waddyamean "Russia's freaky version"?
Ever since I was introduced to Vinni Pukh I've thought Walt Disney's take was the freaky one. If I remember right, Vinni was voiced by the actor who played Sherlock Holmes; a bit like Captain Mainwaring voicing the Mr Men. Thanks for the reminder.

Sorry I should qualify that I REALLY dislike the Disney version
I grew up with E H Shepherd's illustrations so both Vinni and Disney are a bit WTF for me. Although on its own merits the Russian one is rather lovely.
