in that all tortoiseshell cats are chimeras - it's actually very common in cats (and this is why if you have a tortoiseshell it's almost always female). This cat happens to have unusual patterning that really very starkly shows the effect in a cool 'two face' way, as opposed to 'three-patchy-blotchy-face and-part-of-the-ear' way...
