This is a normal post I think one thing that is always overlooked in the overall mentality of things concerning guns
is North American history. The very first settler's had to deal with at times extremely hostile natives who usually dealt with the prisoners by burning them to death. Apparently it was cultural or something. Plus the French.

Between the British and the French stirring shit among ethnic groups, the European settlers would have felt extremely vulnerable, where ever their loyalty lay. Owning guns would have been entrenched into your brain,
and it just seems to have carried on through the years.

Ultimately I blame the French.
