I think that there's a fair bit.
Whether any of it's conclusive is a different matter.
I'm with you in a lot of this: there must be a strange sort of breaking point in a lot of these - a kind of despair (I can't think of a better word). Sometimes it's mental illness, for sure. Sometimes it's not. It's fascinating, though.
