The Golden Crocoduck is awarded every year on 28 October (the feast day of St. Jude Thaddeus, the Patron Saint of lost causes) for the biggest breach of the 9th Commandment (Thou shalt not bear false witness) in pursuit of the creationist cause.

This is a normal post I want to like such content
- but it's a bit too "mocking the afflicted" for my taste.
The guy has cultivated a drily, smartly, smug delivery that grates on me, despite agreeing with everything he says.

I think he rejects nominations when they're too obviously afflicted with insanity or stupidity. The ideal nomination will be telling lies so blatant and obvious that they simply must know they're breaking God's laws.
