I said to an American the other day
that I was looking forward to lockdown easing so I can sit and have a beer in the park with my friends.
I don't think he knew I was British so he said, "What state allows you to drink in parks?"
Another American replied "No state as far as I know"
I then roundly took the piss out of them for living in a police state where you can't even have a drink in the park with your friends without getting arrested.
