you don't get a real sense of it, because it can only show as black as ourscreens
and almost all screens are a little reflective, because they need to cover the light emitters with something, usually glass. it's better to physically be next to the objects, rgb (0,0,0) doesn't cut it

It's like those adverts for new TVs in the late 80s/early 90s
where they demonstrated how vibrant the colours on this new TV were.
On an advert you were watching on your existing TV, which - apart from anything else - had a non-zero possibility of being black and white.
