Sinister and stupid
Someone, please, compile a supercut of the most embarrassing shit of that day and post it on YouTube, vimeo, and everywhere else, just to demonstrate to Brian that it's not fucking 1952 or something.

I think it's important to remember that when all is said and done, this was still a funeral.
It's not unreasonable to want some assurances that footage from the day isn't going to be used for shitragging now that the officially sanctioned mourning period is at an end and all those media conglomorates who temporarily had huge amounts of respect and admiration for the monarchy are now back to flinging excrement at them for likes and shares.
I'm sure most of us would feel the same if it was a member of our family.
That being said, I can see the other side of the argument, too. Our media shouldn't be state vetted/censored and I can see why they might be a bit put out by that. But let's be honest, they've basically got their backs up because they're not going to be allowed to use footage from the funeral to make a mockery of the royals. Which seems reasonable to me.

Nah.
Whoever payed for that funeral should hold the rights to the footage. So, that would be the taxpayer.

It’s not exactly the World Cup final though, is it?
Maybe if they’d starved the corgis then thrown her corpse to them while the crowd bet on which dog ended up with the skull, that might’ve been worth watching again
