This is a normal post for the moeny it doesn't seem worth it
call me cynical, but to be honest i'm surprised that the greyhound owners pay to have the dogs put down at a vets. A lot of them treat it like a business.

also fair point about the rspca being 'outraged' when they destroy 50% of there animals too, healthy or otherwise.

i dunno, it's never black and white is it, if the rspca tried to have a no kill policy they would have less money to spend on animal protection. Is the extended life of 5 or 6 dogs worth more or less than the detection and prevention of cruelty to one?

The article has been written very biasdly. The RVC does buy these parts but were unaware of any "perfectly healthy" dogs being put down just to make a profit. Well that;s their unofficial line anyways :)
