This
is a common ebay strategy. It's designed to make people think the person selling has no idea of the value of the item, or/and that they are selling it for less than it's worth. Finally it also helps to make a "connection" with the seller (if you're a chick).

indeed
if true the "you go girl" comments on the page may be a little premature. For all we know she is the towns local bike and he got sick of it.
