i have been periodically looking at them, for a while there i didn't think the littlest one (wobbly head) would make it.

Just noticed the nest is covered in ants, and lots of them flying around too.
I wonder if it annoys them. Or perhaps they just eat them?

yeah i just noticed that too, first time i have seen that.
i thought they were flies, but on second look they could be swarming ants or termites maybe?, and i was thinking the same thing. they don't seem to be bothered too much though.
