The generation game
"Touch my bum, this is life", glowers Richard "Interw3bz" McBeef. I was recently asked "What colour was your hair?", which made me feel well old. Tell us about moments when you realised you were knocking on a bit. Conversely, perhaps you are a sprightly young whippersnapper who is exasperated by the older folks: do tell.

Another university one.
Given that I work at a university, I'm often brought up by just how young some people are.
A couple of times a year, we have a big dinner/ ball-type thing; staff are encouraged to go along in the name of collegiality. And since our tickets are subsidised.. well, it'd be rude not to.
Anyway: a couple of years ago I got chatting to some students. Somehow the topic came around to my age. "I'd guess that you're 44", said one. Um... no. I was thirty-something-or-other at the time.
"Oh," she said, "That's the same age as my dad!"
What? I looked even older than the parent of someone who's in the second year of a degree? Thanks for that.
Some people seem to want to have all their marks "accidentally" set to zero.

Not long now...
In a couple of years the new intake will be born in the 2000s and that'll be deeply unsettling.
