Cynicism
80s cartoons - a topic that keeps cropping up this week.
In my naivety I failed to realise that most of them were specifically designed to sell toys.
I remember the physical need to have Optimus prime, or Go-bots. I was devastated when, having been given skeletor for my birthday, it took my sister less than an hour to chew the sword into a gammy plastic mess.
But all of this was just marketing and promotion tie in. I feel mugged.
