Cigarettes, gambling, porn and booze. What's your addiction? How low have you sunk and how have you tried to beat it?
Thanks to big-girl's-blouse for the suggestion

Aah, my Kryptonite
Had a run-in with the boss over this stuff. I kept a stash of (properly paid for) tins in the staff fridge, with more in my locker; to keep me going through the early starts, long days, and late finishes that characterise retail life.
He wasn't happy, insisting that we only drank cooler water on duty. Even if we were rushing round like mad on the hottest day for however many years; even if we were pulling cruelly inhumane shifts to keep the place running to his overly ambitious staffing budget; even if we were tucked away in the depths of the warehouse furthest from the public gaze.
His best excuse was that it might look like I was stealing them and security would hassle me over (what he agreed were) legitimately purchased cans from the store.
How ironic then, that he himself was later heavily demoted and transferred out, for unspecified reasons; alleged to be major theft.
