Best and worst TV ads
"I'd like to give that dodo off the 5 Alive adverts a good kicking," says tom.joad. And luckily, there's tasty, tasty Cillit Bang to clean up the blood stains when you've finished. Tell us about TV adverts.

"Please"
It would be nice to hear this in an advert rather than:
"Buy our product"
"Come to our store"
"Go Compare"
Bloody rude is what it is.

I've thought this.
"Please buy our stuff. It's pretty good, and we've priced it as best we can to ensure enough profit to invest in growth in the business over the next few years. Thank you."

What riles me
is the pretence that a company has developed a product or a range for any purpose other than profit. 'We're dedicated to help bring the cost of your weekly shop down' - you're dedicated to making as much money as possible. Of course you are - you're a business and I understand that is a business' purpose.
Just don't give me that 'we're just here to make your life easier/better/less expensive etc', you lying cunts.

I've never once considered that...
