Accidental animal crueltyI once invented a brilliant game - I'd sit at the top of the stairs and throw cat biscuits to the bottom. My cat would eat them, then I'd shake the box, and he would run up the stairs for more biscuits. Then - of course - I'd throw a biscuit back down to the bottom. I kept this going for about half an hour, amused at my little game, and all was fine until the cat vomited. I felt absolutely dreadful.
Have you accidentally been cruel to an animal?

we had a gerbil called 'Stumpy', when i was little.i imagine you're way ahead of me...
So it's christmas at some point in the late seventies, our parents give me and my brother two gerbils. We are very young, and my dad gets gerbil number one out, and gives it to my brother to hold and stroke. I am immediately jealous, I want to hold it!
So i grab it and pull. By the tail. Which comes off.
I remember looking down at the tail in my fist and just knowing I was in SERIOUS trouble.
