being pursued by an irate farmer with a green hat on, who hadn't had breakfast for over a week. His wife was pissed off because it meant he ate twice as much for his tea, and then spent the rest of the evening asleep on the sofa. He'd tried to pacify her by buying her the dogs, and they'd learnt how to drive the hay cart and had taken it for a spin.

I was visiting the farm because my sister had broken her wrist in a skiing accident, and the farm was reputed to have magical healing powers in that area ...
