Mr Stephens (Pappa Smurf)
He was a great High School science teacher. For a start he was a short guy with a big full beard so he was dubbed "Pappa Smurf". He'd draw wonderfully elaborate illustrated colourful chalk boards, for example a set of powerlines with a careless bird stepping onto two wires and being electrocuted. But his coolest attribute was his temper, from zero to frothing rage in a nanosecond... then just as quickly back again like nothing had happened. If someone was disrupting the class or being dangerous, he'd rage at them and eject them from the class, then carry on exactly where he left off.

Is Mr Stephens his real name?
I had a science teacher, that sounds exactly the same as this guy. We used to leave blue tac on his chair and then enquire whether he had shit himself. Did your high School begin with the letter H. The Mr Stephens I knew got into a load of trouble for trying to bum one of his more "promising" students who was left in class on sports day.

No, the only "H" was in "High School". But who knows, maybe he moved on.

At this school, it was the PE Teacher who was a fan of extended physical education. Particularly impressionable young girls.

We had one of those but he was sacked fairly sharpish... On the other hand we had a female teacher who would do the same, that got away with it, even with the full knowledge of all the teachers...Funny old world.
