Our maths teacherall tweed jacket with leather arm patches, used to throw board rubbers , the old heavy wooden type, at people talking in class. One, a bit behind me, caught his attention and - WHAP - got it right in his ear. Only missed me by a fraction of an inch - gave me a new parting, though.
