Happy 10th Birthday B3ta
Ten years ago today we launched B3ta (well the version of it you'd recognise). Happy birthday B3ta! As a special one off please add your memories of B3ta here. E.g. How you found the site, or an early thing you saw on the site, maybe the people you've met or how the community is/was part of your life.

Missing England
I've been in Canada for 10 years. I've been a member of b3ta for 9 years and 3 months.
I remember being so homesick when I first got here, so desperate for the things I was used to, that I jumped on b3ta as soon as I found it.
So funny! So clever! So very British! Not like that Yankie Something Awful stuff!

Agreed
I was on Something Awful for a while and although many of the jokes were really funny, they lacked an edge that B3ta truly has, that warped almost misanthropic edge that B3tards do so well.
