My mum knew Phil Lynott when she was a kid.His auntie lived near my mum in Dublin so whenever he and his mum went to visit, they all saw him. She said he was very quiet and very shy. Being mixed race and growing up in 1950s Ireland wouldn't have been the easiest experience.
