they were everywhere in Camden a few years back
it was something of an achievement to go out for a few drinks and *not* encounter them playing records somewhere

They have .. released their own single, "Indie Boys (Don't Deserve It)", to little critical or commercial success.
Between them they have been linked with Johnny Borrell, Pete Doherty, Elton Welsby, Jason Stollsteimer, Ted 'Roland Shanks' Pearce, and Zezi Ifore among others. They inspired the name of Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles, after nicknaming him "Babyshambles", and his fellow Libertine Carl Barat "Papashingles".
Their controversial appearance on Loose Lips is widely thought to have played a part towards the show's collapse, and the consequent disbandment of Derek Acorah and co.
