Although...Having to carry an easily forged piece of plastic because its the law doesn't make me do cartwheels either..
Especially when you consider that the people working on the day-to-day running of the system are probably just as competent as banking staff (and trained the same "Tick the boxes sod the people" kind of way)
The original posters bank of despair do seem to be coming off as one of the less able banks as well...
