Beautiful Moments, Part TwoLast week I saw a helium balloon cross the road at the lights on a perfectly timed gust of wind. Today I saw four people trying to get into a GWiz electric car. They failed.

I've only twice been in the southern hemispherebut on my second visit we went to Lady Elliot island, at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. It's an 'eco-island', and only has room for a few tens of people at any one time. Apart from the lighthouse, and a few wee lights around the accommodation area, there are no lights. And you're 50 miles from the nearest habitation so the sky's very dark.
The southern sky has a far greater number of bright stars than the north does. It's quite spectacular.
I was quite in awe of it.
