I had exactly the opposite of thisMy band was the support act. If I'm honest, we were the support act for the support act. It was a freezing night, pitch black. We went on stage and started playing, freezing cold, but I could see a few people in front of the stage seeming to be into the music. Then the lights turned outwards and a huge field was illuminated, completely empty. Everyone was queuing for a hot dog while they waited for the main act.
