that really pisses me offhad some old battleaxe give me a right mouthful once. despite the fact that she was walking perfectly well, she DEMANDED that i gave up my seat for her, because "these seats are for the elderly!"
my mother, who was sitting behind me, said "they're for the elderly and disabled. my daughter is disabled, she has every right to sit there." "well, she doesn't look disabled to ME!" snarls the aged she-beast. "you don't look like a witch," my mum replies, "appearances can be deceptive."
