I can fully relatedHad my appendix out in Benalmadina, Spain in 2003 and I wasn't allowed to eat for what felt like an eternity - not as long as 9 days though. The worst torment was that there was a McDonalds outside my hospital room. First thing I ate was a strawberry yoghurt. I cried as it had been so long since I had eaten something.
