There's no way of separating the burgers into 4 as they break up if you try. I seem to remember eating them with peas and mashed spuds, after my mother had prised them out of the can and arranged the mangled pieces into a rough approximation of a burger shape.
The 'burgers' tasted sweet and slimy. I always ate them anyway, being a constantly ravenous kid!
